A Galax Staple! This drive in has been around for decades and is consistently great! I love their hot dogs, chuck wagon, cheese burgers, fries and ice cream! The service is always prompt and the car hops are friendly. The building is neat too, it has a classic mid century drive in vibe. My kids love their dipping dots!
Excellent service from these hard working people who run out to your car, take your order and basically 10 minutes you'll have your burger and fries with plenty of ketchup, napkins, and salt and pepper. Specials everyday, friendly staff too. Milkshakes are some of the best Ive had in years. Only thing to remember is they take cash, check, no debit cards.
Food is great. The service is fast. They come to your car to take your order. The parking lot has been repaved. Milkshakes are thick and yummy. Be sure to stop by while riding the Blue Ridge.
Great little spot just south of down town. We pulled up in the parking lot and a nice lady came out to take our order. We got some corn dogs, a double bacon cheeseburger and of course some ice cream cones. The food came out quickly and we chose to eat outside and save the car the inevitable mess. There are a couple benches to sit on, a table or two in the grass would have been awesome. The kids loved their corn dogs and the burger was great. The ice cream came out a little later and was perfect on a hot summer day. Everyone was nice and friendly and they brought out extra napkins and a wet rag to wipe down the kids after they were covered in ice cream. Great spot to go for a burger and some ice cream!
Good food great prices and friendly service. The burger baskets are great. The ice cream is fantastic the banana splits are huge and delicious.
